Staff Accountant
Finance
Currently SolarCity has openings for a Staff Accountant with the ability to support corporate full cycle accounting functions. The ideal candidate must be results driven and have a great sense of urgency and the ability to deliver monthly financial reports.
Responsibilities
• Reconcile credit card accounts and code expenses.
• Record payments for all regional offices.
• Responsible for month-end accounting close for regional offices.
• Reconcile monthly bank statements for region offices.
• Assist with various general ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist with processing employee expense reports.
• Provide back-up assistance to A/P staff as needed.
• Assist with external audits.
Requirements
• 1-2 year of accounting experience.
• BA Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft office; experience with Great Plains preferred.
• Must be a team player.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have ability to multi-task and build business partnerships with corporate departments.
